With a predicted dismal forecast for the remainder of this week, track officials have decided to move the MaryLee Standridge Memorial to this SUNDAY June 2nd at Jacksonville Speedway. With dry conditions forecasted for Sunday it will allow us to get an early start on making our pit area accessible in plenty of time to race Sunday.
MOWA 410 Winged Sprints, Big 10 Super Late Models, Modifieds, Street Stocks and Hornets are on tap for this big event. Hot laps at 4:00 with racing at 5:00 in an effort to get you back on the road home in plenty of time for work Monday morning. $2.25 cans of Coors Light in the bar area. A kids quarter dash with $500 of quarters at intermission along with many other fun activities for the fans.
One of our track officials will hand out 3 free passes to Sunday's show at 3:30 to whoever he thinks is having the best tailgate/pre-party in our parking lot in front of the grandstands. So bring the coolers, grills and bags early and warm up for the evening's action.
Grandstand admission is $20 with children 12 and under free.
MaryLee spent her Sunday evenings at a race track.... you should too. Join us this Sunday evening for a great show at Jacksonville Speedway!
