STOCKTON, Calif. -- March 22, 2013 -- Kyle Larson, who arrived to the track during hot laps via a plane with fellow NASCAR driver Tony Stewart, made a late charge to pick up the inaugural victory at Stockton 99 Dirt Track.
When Tim Kaeding, who led 18 laps, got caught up in traffic, Larson capitalized and took the lead at the stripe with three laps remaining. He then held off Kaeding in a green-white-checkered finish.
Donny Schatz charged from 13th to round out the podium.
