The way things are now, they are pretty much flat footing non-wing sprinters around L'Burg. Another factor is location. Many of the Indiana tracks are simply closer to home for many sprint car teams. With the economy and fuel costs at the current level, it becomes more difficult for a racer to drive past one race track to get to another.
I just wish Dave Rudisell would have been given the primary role of track design back when the powers that be came up with the current track configuration. I believe one would be hard pressed to find another PROMOTER that cares as much for their fans AND racers as Mr. Rudy does. The facility is second to none; we are never worried about anything when we invite someone to attend a race at Lawrenceburg Speedway, where as at other facilities, you may be a bit concerned if these guests need to use the "facilities". (as an example) lol
It would be so nice if other area tracks could work with Lawrenceburg, Moler on Fridays and N. Vernon on Sundays, to attract more sprint cars to the region. (It don't hurt to dream!)
