I don't know a hole lot about ecu tuning, fuel maping, etc. as all my other racing experience is with carbs, or leaving the cycle motor bone stock. For a modern mini-sprint motor (R1 for example), is the altering of the ecu, thur a Power Commander or Flashing (re-programing) a must?
The way I understand it, you can make your motor run cooler, and increase the hp (some). What's not to like about that?
Second, if I am understanding the benefits correctly. Does anyone have any experience with Flash-Tune (
http://www.flash-tune.com/?wpsc-prod...ning-interface) ? What is appealing is that it mods the existing ecu without additional parts.
