I couldn't agree more... Guys aren't going to spend extra to try and win an extra $50. And people that think payout is the reason guys buy $26,000 Henchcrafts (or any other $25,000 cars) are misinformed. I don't believe payout is any part of the decision process. I know guys that would race them for $0 payout. Nope... to get rid of the high $ cars you're going to have to ban them.
Regarding Motocross... payout is $0 for the majority of classes while the price of a new 450 is $9K (over $10K with exhaust and suspension). That probably more $ than 1/2 of the mini sprints out there.
