Hello there!
Back in the sixties, my Grandpa, Dick Davis, was a midget racer, as well as doing some dirt fender car stuff. He was from Humboldt, Kansas, and I know he raced a midget for a guy who I believe was from Kansas City, the Skee Special. I've got two pictures of him, one from '67 in Valley Park, Missouri, and another from '67 in Belleville, Illinois. On the back of the Valley Park photo, there is a short inked description, and at the end, it says, "To Dick, from Skee" I know that this is a complete shot in the dark, but I was curious if anybody knew anything about the car: stories, whereabouts, etc. or even casual observations of the photos, and I won't know the answer unless the question is posed!
