I'm not 100% certain as the track is leased by Ron Hammons for this event but if I had to guess it would be because we are having 2-3 other bigger paying races for the non wings throughout the year. That is not a comment from the promoter of the race, that is just my personal assumption. Any way you look at it though where are you going to see 360 winged sprints race for $7000 to win in this area and mods racing for $2500 to win. This should be one awesome race.
