The car Michael Lang drove to victory is the same car that we will be racing for this year's Rumble. The very talented Geoff Kaiser from Fort Wayne, Indiana will make his return to indoor competition in that very same car. Unfortunately because of a racing accident, he was not able to compete last year. Up and until that time he had the longest streak of any driver to make every feature event promoted by Tony Barhorst. The car has tremendous history. It is a former Kenny Irwin car, one of two built special for his team, and was built in the early 90's. It has a very short wheelbase and originally had a Pontiac engine and can be seen on YouTube winning the 1993 Mel Kenyon Classic at IRP with Irwin behind the wheel. I bought the car several years ago and completely rebuilt it from the ground up. It now is powered by a Stanton Mopar engine. It has been driven by Richie Jacobs, Tracy Hines, Jacob Wilson and for the last many years, Geoff Kaiser.
