Friday night - What a victory for Casey Shuman in the nonwing "A" feature in the Hockett #77 (brought in on a flat bed truck), holding off Brady Bacon in the #99, Mike Martin in the #16 (team car to Brian Clauson's #16B), Mike Spencer in the Priestly #7M, Michael Bonneau in the #29, Dave Darland in the #8D team car to Bob Ream, Jerry Coons Jr. in the #12C team car to Josh Pelkey, and Kyle Hirst in the #97. Heats to Dustin Morgan in the #93, Ronnie Clark in the #6, and Bacon. Qualifying races went to Bonneau, Spencer and Bacon. In the wing "A", Jason Johnson from 7th in the #41, followed by Bryan Brown in the #21, Tony Bruce in the #18, Christopher Bell in the #1, Jeff Swindell in the #94, Johnny Herrera in the #45X, Seth Bergman in the #23 (from 15th),and Danny Lasoski in the 1M. Heats to Cole Wood in the Ford-powered #17W, Lance Norick in the #90 and Brown. Qualifiers to Justin Henderson in the #82 and Brown. The Thursday night announcers said that the top 7 transferred to Saturday night's "A" features and a different Friday night announcer said 8. Based on the quality of the announcing the two nights, I would bet on 8.
