Many years ago a racer and businessman much smarter than me, told me when I was just getting started that in business one should spend 10% of their gross sales on advertising>>> unless the add was on a race car. Over the years I have found it to be very good advice.

I would think that many racers have used this same bit of wisdom when deciding to sponsor a race car. The problem is now we can't even find that first 10%.

I would expect to see many more of these announcements in the future. Given the choice between keeping the doors open and racing any "good" business will elect to keep the doors open and work toward a better future.
