I agree, Danny. While I certainly don't claim to know what's gone on behind the scenes, it seemed to me that Mr. Bernard, in coming to the series from the "outside," really injected a much-needed breath of fresh air into the series. I'm afraid his departure will prove to be a mistake for IndyCar racing. I wonder how much pressure he was under to "relinquish" his position.
