Personally, I am glad that this is happening. In Indiana, they have dirt tracks that are essentially all the same size (with the obvious exception of Terre Haute)...
Where I'm from (the West Coast), they have 1/4 miles, 3/8 miles, and 1/2 mile tracks and it gives you a litle variety to see how these competitors adapt to different size race tracks. I applaud the efforts of Dave Rudisell and the rest of the Lawrenceburg Speedway management team. I want to see the the contrast of a 1/4 mile, a 3/8 mile and 1/2 mile racetrack. That is what makes our sport great. Kudos to those for who made this happen.
