Over the last few years this website which started out as a hobby, now thanks to the many members of this website has experienced growth to levels I never imagined. I've spent many hours building this site and the continued growth of this site makes the work well worth the time and effort. I do want to thank everyone for that.

Back this past summer the original hosting company shut down this site because the traffic was much to high for there servers to handle... that shutdown forced me to move to another host, that move kept this website going... Here recently I have found out that the new hosting company is now having problems managing the load created from this site. IOW currently is getting around 8 million hits a month. IOW's web traffic currently ranks in the top 3% of all websites on the internet.

All this brings me to the reason for posting this message... I have decided to upgrade and purchase a dedicated server that is capable of handling the load created from this site.

- This new server will increase the speed on which this sites loads.
- This new server will allow use of all email features... yep... up to this point I have disabled email features to everyone with hope of reducing load...
- I will also be allowing image upload privileges to members.
- It will also allow many more features and will allow additional expansion of the site.

While all of this is exciting news... it comes at great financial expense to myself. I think the fine people that make this place an every day stop, deserve this investment on my part. Obviously, this investment means that the current advertising program here at IndianaOpenWheel.com will have to be revised slightly...

Basically, what this means is that you may see more ads on the site. I hope that everyone will understand why more banner ads might be displayed... I will make every attempt to preserve the basic structure of the board. Unlike other sites, I WILL NOT BE CHARGING MEMBERS A MEMBERSHIP FEE... I believe an increase in advertising income for this site will offset the additional expenses. At least that is my hope.

Over the course of the next few days the website will be transitioned to the new server... I believe that everything you see now will be moved over as it is... Obviously, we may experience some downtime during this transition period.

Again, I thank everyone for making this site, without your participation this site would not exist.
