NASCAR has reinstated Aaron Fike after the former Truck Series driver completed his substance abuse recovery program.
Fike was suspended in July 2007 after he was arrested while injecting himself with heroin in an amusement park parking lot. He was allowed to avoid jail time by going to schools and race tracks to deliver an anti-drug message while undergoing NASCAR's Road to Recovery program.
Fike admitted to use of the drug on race days. Unsure of his status in USAC where his brother, A.J., races in the midget and Silver Crown divisions.
