I really hope someone had a camera on the finish at Lincoln tonight. Coming out of turn 4 on the last lap, I didn't know whether BC, Shu, Jerry or Rico would win. BC was up top, Shu on the bottom, Jerry somewhere in the middle and Rico trying to shoot the gap for the victory. What a race! At the finish line I still didn't know who won, BC or Shu. Joe (I Miss Manzy) and I looked at each other and just shrugged our shoulders. They announced that BC won in the #39, Shu in the black #2, and I still don't know who got third and forth.

If you like racing, you really should come to Lincoln Speedway in Lincoln, Illinois when POWRi is there. Really nice covered fairgrounds grandstand, cheap concessions ($1 water, $2 hot dogs), super-nice people, excellent track taken care of by people who obviously know how to do it and great racing. I loved the modifieds and those who know me realize how good it must have been for me to say that about modifieds. For anyone who may have forgotten why Kenny Wallace is in NASCAR, he started 10th in his heat, got to 4th just as a yellow came out, had to go back to 5th with one lap to go, and split two cars coming out of turn 4 and finished 3rd. Started the feature on the pole, got over a straightaway lead, had a flat, restarted in 16th with perhaps 10 or so laps to go, and finished 3rd. Five more laps and he would have won.

Great little 1/4 mile black dirt track.
