8Ball & Alkymadness, I have heard rumors for two months that Oswego has been trying to obtain a 2009 date to run a USCA SC race. I have no inside information, just hearing rumors. My best guess would be that a track the size of Oswego will expect to pay about half the purse the SC cars were racing for the last two years.
With todays economy being what it is, sponsorship dollars becoming harder and harder to find and tracks wanting to pay the lowest purse possible; what incentive is there for the owners to dust off their old cars and go back to racing?
