With the turmoil going on in the SC series we got to thinking, what's the difference between a SC motor and say a USAC West Coast 360? From what I see the West Coast motors are basically an ASCS motor. You can run an open headed motor but have to use 1 7/8" restrictors or the spec Brodix head and 2 3/16. We were thinking if we struggle with the ethanol or only run a few races we could find a sprint roller and put it in there to run some local shows in Indiana or the WAR series in KC. If a SC motor Is making 750-800 HP will it be competitive with the alum 410's on the local level in Indiana? Is there anywhere that runs non-wing 360's in the Midwest that a SC motor would work in?
