From my perspective most people I meet are rich so maybe that doesn't bother me so much.

From what I saw a half a track away is Gulick getting turned around before he had a chance to make his moves to the front. It could have been a worse deal from a danger standpoint but it wasn't. The #32 bad move. The #14 I didn't see the steering wheel being thrown out of the car but there are enough witnesses to say he did. Probably not the best move by Gulick but considering the situation I could understand first hand his frustration especially with sprint week and all.

I have talked to the Shockens and the Gulicks over the years and both families seem to be genuinely nice groups of people and the drivers are very talented as well. Hopefully any ill feelings between the two drivers, if any, can be resolved quickly.

I saw an excellent race. I'm very happy for Justin Grant. How could you not like this kid? At the same time I feel bad for BC, DD and the Throttle. Any one of them could have brought it home P1 last night but that's racing. I got to see Racegal and her sister once again plus the Mayor of Lawrenceburg is once again sitting in his familiar perch which means all is right with the world. The only bad is I missed out on some delicious fried chicken earlier in the evening due to an afternoon family commitment. I promise never to let that happen again if I ever get another chance.

Let's go racing.
