If they were the ones who pulled the plug, the promoter could have saved the sanction fee and still held the race. That was done several years ago at Union County, when several teams had track concerns and left. USAC dropped the sanction so that teams chasing points would not be penalized for not competing. Wonder why this option wasn't considered?

Didn't POWRI just cancel 2 races because of heat? How many cars did Must See take to Oswego? No problem, it is what it is, but it amazes me how selective some people are with their complaints. 14 cars is great for some a travesty for others.
Funk how is it not USAC fault.Plymouth ran last night the promoter was willing to take the risk.If USAC didn't race cuz of heat( 90 degrees)cancel the rest of the summer.If they didn't race cuz of "safety" issues there fault again they booked the show.
