Thanks for all the well wishes. Sometimes things dont quite go as you plan them. I got home this afternoon to find my dog in the backyard squared off with a rather large ground hog. Just as I went out to get it out of the yard they attacked each other. When I pulled them apart the groundhog bit me in the finger, all the way to the bone. Saved the dog, the groundhog got away and I spent the next 3 hrs in the ER getting it cleaned out and about 10 rabies shots, 5 of them in the wound itself. No dinner with my parents, no race. Oh well think I'll try to forget today(except for the other rabies shots I have to get over the next 2 weeks) there is always Kokomo tomorrow.
