ART vs Hoosier!
Many many people told us that the Hoosiers were at least 1 sec a
lap faster for qualifying. Well now many of the asphalt track
records have been reset by American Racing Tires (ART).
The 410 Sprint Hoosiers tires had anywhere from a few to
5 years to reset track records and they have not. I don't know why!
Maybe its not the tires and its the must see racing drivers!
The ART performance and consistency was proven beyond doubt
this weekend when Tanner Swanson raced at Pensacola. This is
a track made of sea shells and has historically like Berlin eaten
tires. The MustSeeRacing race was 30 laps and Tanner ran at
old track record times of 13.9 or less for his first 24 laps.
As a car owner using ART we pay at least $200 a set less than
Hoosier. We currently field 3 410 Winged Sprint Cars. We plan to
race 18 races. We plan to save at least $18,000 in tires for 2012,
more than most series would win for a championship. From a car
owners pocket book this is outstanding!
Here is a list of 7 track records now held by ART that were Hoosiers!
Bristol .533 Mile Brian Gerster
Salem 1/2 mile Brian Gerster
Winchester .533 Mile Jason Blonde
Slinger 1/4 Mile Jeff Bloom
Five Flags 1/2 Mile Jason Cox
Mobile .533 Mile Todd Fayard
Rockford 1/3 Mile Jasob Wilson
I expect more of the records to fall as the series goes on to
Anderson Speedway
Lucas Oil Raceway Park
Auto City Speedway
Shangri-La II Speedway
Oswego Speedway
Kalamazoo Speedway
Berlin Raceway Park
