Based on where I live, if I limited myself to non wing racing I would see one or two races a year. Therefore I have to diversify. I shoot supermodifieds, north east mods, ump mods, pavement late models, dirt late models, wings and anything else that's races within a 2-3 drive of Detroit.

Having said that, dirtondirt.com (who cover dirt late models only), is the standard a lot of other genres of short track racing imitate. This is for good reason, as this site is amazing for coverage.

I know it's been mentioned on here before, but i hope this new allegiance will make for a unified be all end all website for non wing racing. It's unfortunate that it may not include the most historic better known sanctioning body for these cars. I know this issue has been beaten to death, but a lot of the Indiana scene will never have the popularity and earning potential of a true national series like WoO.

Regardless I know a lot of you are resistant to change and the growth as a result of that change.

I'd love to see a non sanctioned chili bowl sized event in the Midwest for sprint cars. Along with some top notch coverage. Best of luck to Sean and Dean for the hardwork required in an often unloved profession. It's a hard life that I think these two (without knowing them personally) seem to be cut out for. A task a lot of us couldn't make the sacrifices for.
