I was told by a Hoosier rep that the HT2 was the same tire as the ASCS medium compound tire with a different stamp on it. It should durometer between the 12 and 15. Info from the ASCS guys might provide some insight into the tire, but wing vs non-wing works the tire a lot differently so I wouldn't hang my hat on their experience with the tire.
Back when we ran the 12 and 15 they didn't hold up well to heat cycling. The 15 took a long time to build heat and once it cooled off it was done. Lot's of problems sealing over under caution. You could grind the crust off it, but it never was as good. The 12's weren't much better.
Now the question is do I get rid of my 17x5 and 17x6 wheels and go with 18's since the HT2 is wider? Going to have to mount some up to see where the stagger rolls out on the different wheels, then run the tire a few times to figure out what is best. I'm sure it will also have to be cut and siped different than the DT3 as well. Not complaining, this is actually the fun part for me... learning something new.
