Kirk, the point of all this would be to get young, interested, high school students involved in racing at a level that could be afforded by the limited number of sponsorship money they most likely would be able to come up with. It is not about simply starting a division. If the participation was not by the schools there would be no point in it.
A sprint car team ran by high school kids funded with tax payers money this I have got to see. Here in Indianapolis drivers ed and gun safety classes should be high priorty
But say this did somehow happen....maybe the IHSAA would get involved and set up some conferances and have schools go head to head with each other which would lead to a state championship. I can see Speedway vs Brownsburg in the final race with Brownsburg winning by one positon. Running Nike tires on all four corners
