The Eldora Million was won by Donnie Moran in 2001, after it was rained out at the end of 2000. He actually is the only short track winner of a million dollars. Jac Haudenschild won the Mopar Million Sprint Car race in 2003 and he took home $200,000, out of the Million dollar total purse. That was awesome that year, I missed the big show, first time at Eldora and still took home around a Grand for the weekend!
Would love to see Tony use his resources to make another Million dollar total purse Non-Wing Sprint Car race happen!
