August the 19th is a Sunday.
The race is on Saturday August 18th. I am sure the ticket price will be the same. When I went to the last race at Greenville, Ohio in 2008 the purse was $40k and I believe Lima, Ohio's purse is in that range. The AMA knows how to put on a race...it is like a "happening" There are several vendors and displays at their races and at Greenville (not sure about the other tracks) they opened up the pits for 30 minutes after practice and TT's for all the fans....and they run on a strict time schedule. They only have about 16 or 17 races per year... and not saturated in one area...the old "supply and demand" theory. Last year at The Sacramento Mile race it was a sold out standing room only crowd with the cheapest grandstand seat at $50!! If you have a chance to see them it is well worth the trip.
