Dude, there is a "readily" available mechanical injection unit for these engines, I see used ones everyday on Ebay, for usually under $300.00, I've passed on at least a dozen in the past 3 months, true, there is a bit of engineering to be done to mount a pump, but that's simple, I've done several myself, as well as my own, it's even simpler on others, because I have to drive a dry sump pump, and a water pump, as well as the ignition, on a typical twin cam motor, you can drive off one cam, or both, couldn't ask for anything any easier.
