The main difference between the two is the tire size and just like any other class of race cars, they're broke down into different classes based on engine size. I'm 34 and have been around all of these cars most of my life and learned the names and differences of these cars when I was a kid.show with the Micro's thinking that he was getting what my brother and I showed and tested at his track. He now knows the difference between Micro and Mini!!

Lynn that is what I have to go through here in Florida ....FMSA (Florida Mini Sprint Association) They are Micros with 600/750cc 10" wheels and sidewinder chassis, yet they call themselves Mini Sprints and the promoters down here now no difference...so this is one of the reasons I chose to use the word
"LIGHTNING" to distinguish the difference of the 2...The GMSA (Georgia group) changed their name this year from Mini to Micro, but would the Florida group...HELL NO!!! is what I was told.
