I like the rules, not so much getting away with chain drive, but thats a small factor, as long as you have the option to run a chain. How do you run shaft drive off a jap engine ? I've never seen it done. I like small light cars, thus chain drive in a minisprint works for me. I'm looking for sponsors, putting flyers out ect hoping to make the nonwing winter nats. I could care less what I'm racing against as long as they're in the sprit of the rules . Also to me self starting would mean the driver does it from the cockpit, but once again not a huge issue for me. Theres two races in October up here in PA. I'm not quite ready to go which is a bummer. they're nonwing, nonrule, no weight limit lightning sprint races, no midgets allowed. Me and my car weigh 870 lbs, I'd be fun.
I want to build a zx1400 car, that would be a nice ride. they are full of torque. My buds got a pretty orange ninja, he'd know right where to look if it disappeared.
