The learning curve at Winchester, Salem, Toledo, etc can be quite steep. You are right, he never looked comfortable in the car. The "hills" can be very difficult to conquer for new drivers. A couple of trips and I am sure he will figure it out. Certainly not for the faint of heart.
Tracey has been there, done that a number of times. A very deserving winner and I enjoyed hearing his comments in victory lane. The quantity of cars was down but the quality was very good. I just wish that somehow, someway this problem can be fixed.
With the DARF/HARF discount it was a very good day of racing. An excellent modified race and the front wheel drives are always entertaining. Maybe not an instant classic, but certainly worth the price of admission.
