We wind them just a little before the rev limmiter kicks in at the end of the track. Go out and listen for the rev limmiter right before the turn it will start to stutter go 1 tooth smaller on the rear end and that should be all it's worth.
You did not figure your primary ratio for your gear ratio, that is the ratio between the crank and the clutch *** primary Times trans ratio times sprocket ratio equals overall ratio. I would try about 10 or 10.5 to 1 for Brownstown with your motor. What did you have on last time out in what gear and what was the motor doing. A good tac is also a good idea.

Top gear would probably be all three gears primary x trans x sprockets on the bike in 6th gear.
