I would say, if I were in your position, to just leave the wings at home and locate yourself somewhere around Indy....there is plenty of non wing racing to keep you busy without needing to chase a winged race....

As far as your engine goes, the late great Jesse Hockett would occasionally hurt his 410 motor in hotlaps or the heat race and have to drop his 360 in the car to finish the night...usually ran just fine against the 410s...think he ran from the back to a top 3 at Eldora with that little motor once....
