Don't know if he's still at it, but a couple o years ago Chuck DeGrane from Louisiana (who formerly ran the yellow C.E.D. #17 Midgets and Sprints in USAC with Tony Elliott, Jerry Coons,Jr, Mark Daily and others) was attempting a LSR with one of the old Midgets. He told me at the time that he was putting together a '27 roadster an putting the Midget engine in for an attempt also.....neat stuff!
