I loved it. I'm really broke and can't afford to actually go to the race, so it's the next best thing. From a marketing standpoint, they did what they needed to do. I would be willing to bet if you took a poll of the people that bought the race, 20 to 25 percent had probably never heard of a midget, or watched one race. They heard Tony was going to be there along wth Kasey, and they figured for the money it would be worth it to watch. They did what they had to do, and I applaud them for it, hopefully it made enough money for them to bring it back next year. I thought the announcing staff was great except for the monster jam guy, but even then, he wasn't horrible. I like driver interviews, I think they make things interesting. I don't think I've ever felt worse for a guy than I did for Bubba, I've done something like that, certainly not on that big of a scale, but I've done it before, and it felt horrible. Can't blame Klepper for doing his job.
Here is a good question, how many people would pay 99.99 for the telecast to start at noon when they start the "K"s, and run all the way to the feature? I would in a heartbeat.
