She served a purpose during her time in IRL/Indy Car. Whether she deserved all the attention she was getting or not, she always did get attention. And if you're running a racing series, any attention is good. Especially attention you don't have to pay for. If you're making changes like they have in the last couple of years and your series is starting to make somewhat of a comeback, who's gonna know if no one's watching? And I can't think of a single thing she did to harm the series, so it was a net gain, IMO.
