618 is a good gear , we have won a few features up there and we struggled until we started running a 618 or 617 gear. It will run you up to around 7800 to 8100 rpm's if you don't spin the tires. Helps slow the car down better entering the turn running the bigger gear , the 589 and 596 like gears will break the tires loose faster than a bigger gear. Trust me it is a good choose for paragon.
