When I was in high school we got out in late may and didn't start again till AFTER labor day.... no matter how many snow days we had. But, now that the kids are going an extra 5-10 days a year.... they are sooooo much smarter than we are!!!!!!!!

Why would anyone who owns a race track schedule a vaca in one of the months when your track would be open AND profitable? Not using the off nights to make up rain outs.......
How about talking to some businesses and having a different "so&so hardware" night at the races? The extra income would offset the loss of the families with lil kids who don't come out...

I thank Kokomo and Gas City for the time they do give us, I use these two as they are our home tracks.
