Backitin; I don't know where you are located, but, apparently out of our area, When the MMSA was organized,the first year we allowed the 1200 motors, giving local racers with those motors a year to change to the
1,000's, stock bore & stroke which
is easy to police, we have a weight handicap on cars using alcohol, we weigh cars at every race.
All this being done in an effort to keep competition as even as possible.
There are clubs in the midwest that run the big motors, so you do have a choice of places to run, it's unfortunate that your car does not confirm to our rules, we welcome more competition, but, at this time I see no need to change the rule.
I wish you good luck whever you race, you must have had a place in your area where your car is legal or you would not have bought it.
If you choose, when your car meets our rules, we welcome you to race with the MMSA.
