I may be wrong, but I believe Hoosier Tire was founded and is still solely owned by Bob Newton.

By the way, a new DT3 cost $180. We got three nights out of the first one we bought this year (and it sounds like we aren't special). That's $60 a night tire bill. Running a series that pays $200 to start. Maybe I've run too much pavement, but that sounds pretty cheap to me.
