Well now were talking. Part of my fun each year going to Tulsa is taking in various attractions like the ones mentioned.

A couple that have not been mentioned that are well worth the trip are located in OK City.

1) www.nationalcowboymuseum.org Similar to the Gilcrease in Tulsa it has western art and hosts the rodeo hall of fame. Cowboys and rodeos are not my forte' but I have been to this place twice in 14 years of Chili Bowls and enjoyed myself each time. In fact I am due for a trip again.

2) www.oklahomacitynationalmemorial.org The Oklahoma City National Memorial & Museum was created to honor those who were killed, those who survived and those changed forever by the 1995 bombing of the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building in Oklahoma City.

Folks I am telling you this place is compelling as it gets. If you want to get up close and personal to what a terrorists attack looks, feels and smells like this is a fine place to start. It is a Federal memorial so they did it right. I would encourage all Chili goers to make the 90 minute trip to OK City at least once for this attraction.
