I've seen things out there that are questionable all the time. Like if you are not going to throw the green, Flash the yellow light as the drivers are coming out of the 2nd turn so they can see it coming into turn 3 & they know they will not be going green. This happened about 3 wks ago & the flag person was waving the yellow, The guys were already on the gas, Well guess what they ended up with a 3 car pile up just passed the flag stand & then the flagger(s) were just standing up there shaking there heads. The kid with the cone stands there with the rope in his hand at the edge of the track. Just Sat night he dropped it & didn't even pay attention as the cars were going past as he picked it up. He also nonchalantly turns & walks back to the infield as the tail of the field comes by at the starts. Someone needs to tell the kid to pay attention at all times.
