I guess I prefer a "sorta" dry/slick. it's what I grew up on, so it develops better throttle control, IMHO, and we didn't know you couldn't pass, but we did know you don't wait till the final 5 laps to make a move, ya gotta commit early, those video's from Ventura are good examples, those guys let er all hang out, and you got bottom feeders, and cushion cats, and those remind me of Twin Cities, the camera angle, makes it look like it has a high bank, but it's flatter than flat, prepped properly, hardly any dust. If you're gonna run dirt, in Indiana, you better learn to run dry/slick! Sometimes wish I could go back to those days, but not likely! Bob!
