Old school racing mechanic and car owner, Monty Miller liked racing just as much or more than anybody I've ever met. Outspoken and well respected, this is Indiana's first racing season without him, as he passed away last fall at the age of 84. His son was sprint car racer and Warsaw flagman Ronnie Miller. Monty was also a promoter for Warsaw Speedway at one time. Even though they stopped running there 20 years ago, I hope you'll check out their website sometime. www.warsawspeedway.com You can even find Dave Darland, Tony Elliott and Jeff Gordon results from 80's on there!

And does anybody else remember a clown that threw out rock hard bubble gum?
