Paul had a shop, just off 46, at a little town called Burney. His first wife was my cousin. I didn't know much about him, because he was gone racing all the time. I know a fellow who worked several years for him, and yes, he fired a lot of drivers, including one while he was flipping his car, but, I never heard anyone say Paul ever put a driver in a bad car, and if you wanted a good, fast, sprint car, try to buy one from Paul. His son, Greg, drove for a long while, turned into quite a business man. Bob!
