You never know who you'll run into on trips like that, and I was sitting in the Tulsa grandstands and Court Grandstaff wasnt sitting all that far from me. Court e-mailed me many years ago when Brooke Tatnell was first announced to drive his Trop Artic 66 sprinter, and wanted to know where he could learn more about Brooke, seeing it was the off season at the timehere, and racing season was well underway in Australia.

I finally met Court in person for the first time at a NCRA/ All Stars race at Haubstadt the following season After that I would usually see him at Knoxville for the Nationals etc. That day at Tulsa Speedway though, when I walked down to get a cold Coke, I said hi to Court on the way by. Surprised to see me there,he said "Andrew you are a LONG ways from home this time"!
Andrew, Court is from Bartlesville which is about thirty to fourty five mins to the north of Tulsa. We take our sprint car racing here in Oklahoma serious. I grew up around 1200 cc mini sprints and I have won a crew chief championship in that division. I though about moving to Indy and running a midget after I graduated from college but never got around to it.

We are a friendly bunch. If any of you guys need a place to work on your cars after a crash or what not please ask. I know of some guys that would open up their places for you guys. Yes, we are competitive to the hillt but we also do not what to see some guy go home if it is a simple change over. We love to race against the best and do not what to run against a field of ten.
