Also, I don't think this is the first time Bruno got the boot. Didn't Tagliani (this years polesitter) miss the race last year and the team bought Bruno's qualified car? I'm not sure and too lazy to look it up, but I believe that's what happened.

Bruno was Tagliani's team mate in 2009 when that happen, but I think it was a preplan deal that if Tag didn't make the 500 Bruno would give up his ride since Tag was the regular driver for that team.
