He ran it too hard into turn one and drove over the berm in turn two. He kind of bounced it a little and ended up sitting on the back side of the turn. Up until that point, he had passed more cars than anybody and had caught another cluster of cars and might have been a threat to take several more positions had he not jumped the turn. He was definitely the hard charger of the race, until that happened.
