Back in that day a driver could expect to lose about 1/2 ther friends to race accidents. Thats why I always laugh when guys say, "but the wings crush when you flip, dont hurt so bad", I'll tie a couple pillows to my cage instead. I love watchin that old footage, especially cool when someone gets thrown from the car, but jumps up and gets to saftey.
