Cecil, I know it's killin ya, but the "kid" in the short suit, is Tony Stewart, his dad, Nelson, a friend and helper in the early day, Curt Meyer, most of the other guys raced karts also, myself, and I've probably built over 200 street rods, TQ midgets, raced about everything, Terry Shirley, raced and owned about everything too, ARCA, ASA, went to work for Dave Marcus, when Dave was doing R&D for Dale Earnhardt, when the restricter plates were first enforced, Dave would send parts home with Terry, for me to machine, he didn't want anyone finding out what they were doing, that was before the "plate". Terry went on to Felix for a while, as a crew chief, then to Brewco, with a Nationwide team, out of Owensboro, now he's at C&R, their connection to NASCAR, and he did sub for a few Cup teams, when the occasion arose. Just some good ole boys, from Seymour, In, helpin out where we could, still have some guys working in fabrication, for some of the major teams. That Picture was taken at Barnsville, Ga, probably in the early 70's, we traveled a lot then, and Tony and Nelson would usually slide in on Sat morning. Those were the good old days, one reason I have a close connection to Nascar, up until about 10 years ago, I had raced go-karts with about half of the field, when they were just getting started. Bob
