Looks like the deal is done at Oswego, track officially changed hands this week. Thank you to the Torrese family for stepping in and saving the old Steel Palace. I spent every Saturday night as a youngster at Oswego Speedway from the early 1970's to the late 1980's. So glad it is not going the route of other tracks being torn down for shopping malls or housing, etc. Oswego has an important place in short track racing history, glad to see it will live on some more. I encourage all fans to get together this year and really show up in force to support Oswego this summer & beyond. Even though I live in Speedway, IN I will make the long trip up there this Labor Day for the Classic. If you never have been to Oswego, you owe it to yourself to check it out.
